50 Grit's Bio Scott, the 50 Grit Shit Magnet, started with the originals on the team.  Scott has a very important role on the team, he is in charge of protecting our leaders.  He enforces our place in the peloton with stern looks and sharp elbows.  He fits this position well as he owns a 10 gallon hat a few Motley Cru albums and is a regular Coors drinker.  You can't blame him though he is from Colorado.   He is also one of the fortunate members of the team who recognizes the benefits of Shimano Paired Spoke wheels.  We can't all be smart like Scott and Derrick.   Scott trains with his 22mile commute to work, which he can even sometimes do without crashing into one of his co-workers.   He has also taken on the role of Director of Development for our masters team. Which he calls C.6.R.S.S. (Category 6 Racing Squad - Steady). We're all looking forward to the day his wife will let him grow a moustache.   Race Results 2005
