Cap'n's Bio Cap'n John is the rookie star of our team.  He went from High School competition straight into amateur racing.  Talent like this couldn't wait until maturity could give him a disadvantage like the rest of the team.  John also attempted to race off-road this summer, but failed to come up with a suspension fork sponsor in time to make any of the races.  The rest of the competitors were greatfull.     For 2005, he will no doubt put the C6RS jersey in front of the T.V. cameras.  Expect him to lead the team soon, and possibly unseat Tyler from his bike race trivia throne.   Race Results 2004 John used some tactics that the team had never thought of.  To the left there is a picture of John in a race.  As you may see John raced with bigger tires that day.  At the start line the other riders shook their heads, because they thought the tires would be too slow.  They were stunned however when John passed them all by using SHORTCUTS!!  I believe the picture to the left is of John blowing the field away at Opus by cutting the circle in half.   This sort of thinking outside of the box was highly rewarded by Directeur Sportif, Derrick Lewis.   John's CX Results 2004
