Derrick's Bio Derrick began racing cars at an early age. To be clear, meaning on his bike against the cars. They won every time. He developed a hatred for the automobile. In 2004 he realized that he could also race against other bike riders, giving him a slightly better chance of wining. He soon grew to like other bike riders. Derrick's Shimano M540 wheels give him a competitive advantage that perfectly offsets his athletic handicap. He contends that Jan Ullrich is the greatest cyclist of all time. Mostly, because they look a alike.

Derrick had a fair 2004 season. He, with the help of his teammates, clinched the
State championship title for Category Six and their sponsors. Next year Derrick
has verbally committed to one of the toughest jobs on the team: Webmaster.
Hopefully his computer will see him through.
Derrick's 2005 season was his first a Category 3 racer. Much to his dismay the
category 3 racers did not slow down in the Time Trials.
