Tyler Denniston, first lieutenant of the Category 6 Racing Squad, was temporarily
out-sporting the entirety of the category 4/5 field.  The Rider of the Year competition
scores riders in the best 6 races of the season.  Tyler's strong time trailing this
season had nudged him past the competition.

Tyler made a run for the same prize last year, but was cursed with tactical errors
throughout the season.   This season has thus far been a gift from the cycling gods
as the tactical errors that do occur are during races not scored by the governing body.

In a final bout at the Henderson TT Tyler was forced to step off the podium.  Not to
worry though Category 6 actually does most of its training at the psychologist's office
training to mentally handle losing.

Rather than sulk about losing or shake his head and think about the various ways he
could have gained a few more points Tyler will do what every good Cat 6 racer would
do.  He will bitch about how the winner was just sandbagging and should have moved
up a category years ago.  That bastard.

Tyler could have won a medal.  If he did Cat 6 tradition for all domestiques says he
should melt it down re-smelt it into something that can be pawned and use the cash
to buy the team drinks.  Or he has to wear it around his neck during next years
races.
